Causeway Studios is an Arkansas-based, remote-first studio that makes narrative-focused games in which reality is often stranger than it seems. We shipped our first game, The Haunting of Joni Evers, in January 2025 and recently announced our second game, The Final Cut of Lilith Cunningham (announcement trailer).

The Final Cut of Lilith Cunningham is a dark supernatural mystery game with tactile detective mechanics, multiple full-motion video treatments, desert-noir vibes, and a tale of family and regret. The game is set at The Alpine Movie Manor, a combination hotel and drive-in theatre based on a real location in Colorado’s San Luis Valley.

While the project is still in a pretty early stage, we do have a defined art and creative direction, as well as a horizontal slice of our environments and most of our gameplay. We’re looking for a 3D generalist that can come on to support us in significant asset creation, refinement of our environments to our final fidelity, and contribute to visual problem solving as the project progresses.

Causeway Studios is proud to work with creators from around the world. However, we ask that you are available during our brief daily meetings, which take place mid-morning (Eastern US) and our weekly wrap-up (Thursdays at 4 PM ET) if at all possible. For those in Europe, we will accommodate shifts to your schedule on Thursdays to ensure a healthy work-life balance. For those in Pacific Time or Mountain Time in the United States, we are happy to work with you to ensure you aren’t working outside of normal business hours.

Please note: Causeway Studios is firmly anti-generative AI. Our contracts include two-way AI protection provisions to ensure no generative AI assets are used at any point in our development process.
